  • Deliver 7 to shake-up New Zealand’s mid-size van market
  • Impressive cargo capacity and payload
  • Comprehensive 7-Year Warranty

The arrival of the new LDV Deliver 7 into the mid-size van market proves LDV New Zealand understands small business and is committed to helping them work harder every day.

The introduction of the Deliver 7 offers loadspace, payload, comfort, safety, technology – and value for money.
Inchcape New Zealand General Manager, distributor of LDV New Zealand, Kym Mellow welcomes the Deliver 7 to the LDV line-up, which provides the largest commercial vehicle range in the country.

“The Deliver 7 fits in perfectly size-wise preceding the larger Deliver 9 vans that we currently have in our New Zealand dealerships and provides another tool of trade vehicle option for Kiwi businesses.”

“Deliver 7 is a compellingly priced diesel van that is suitable for both urban delivery routes and cross-country transport, all while taking care of your bottom line.”

The new Deliver 7 sits in the mid-size van segment offering an efficient diesel variant to compete with the likes of Ford Transit Custom, Renault Trafic, VW Transporter, Hyundai Staria and Toyota Hiace.

Mellow says LDV prides itself on knowing what really matters to business operators.

“We know SMEs and fleet operators view time as their most valuable asset.  They need a van that is comfortable, efficient and convenient, with advanced safety and technology features, all underscored by a comprehensive 7-year warranty package delivering a compelling value-for-money proposition. In the new Deliver 7, New Zealand businesses have a van that can deliver all that and more, 24/7.”

DESIGN

Two variants make up the Deliver 7 range: a short wheelbase low roof and a long wheelbase low roof. Measuring 4,998mm long for the SWB (5364mm for the LWB), 2,323mm wide and 1,998mm high, the Deliver 7 is unhindered by tight city streets or inner-city car parks. Its futuristic and distinctive face complete with LED daytime running lights give it a striking look.

Out back, LED rear taillights, 236° barn doors with two-stage opening, and a single, or double sliding side door complete the sleek aesthetic.

POWERTRAINS

The new Deliver 7 is powered by LDV’s proven 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine, delivering 123.5kW and 390Nm through the front wheels. A 9-speed gearbox ensures the right gear for the right moment. An 80-litre fuel tank ensures the Deliver 7 can stay on the road longer, while the 2000kg max braked towing capacity gives drivers additional capability if needed.

SAFETY

Business owners and fleet operators know that by staying on the road longer they can deliver more, and the new Deliver 7 offers comprehensive advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) to minimise the chance of a collision.

Standard safety and driver assistance highlights include Autonomous Emergency Braking; Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go; Front Collision Warning; Emergency Lane Keeping and Lane Change Assist; Blind Spot Detection; Front & Rear Parking Sensors; and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

With many government and blue-chip fleet operators requiring third party validation when it comes to safety, LDV is confident that the new Deliver 7 will meet the needs and expectations of the market.

PRACTICALITY

The cabin of the new Deliver 7 is a practical and convenient workspace for the driver. Keyless entry and start, height adjustable driver’s seat with manual slide, recline, lumbar support and armrest, all help take the hassle out of daily deliveries.

The 12.3" touchscreen infotainment display with DAB radio, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto ensures clarity and connectivity; three USB ports give further flexibility.

There are practical additions at the rear, too. The 236-degree opening rear doors – ideal for loading New Zealand pallets via forklift – can be fixed in place while the vehicle is on an incline to prevent them from being blown shut. Both rear doors also come standard with glass to ensure optimal rear visibility and, as with all LDV vans, the new Deliver 7 comes standard with non-slip rubber flooring, a key safety requirement for fleet owners.

Deliver 7 also comes with either six (SWB) or eight (LWB) tie-down points in the cargo area, a single-sliding door on the passenger side, and rear cargo lighting. In a further nod to truly understanding the requirements of SMEs.

Cargo volume is where the Deliver 7 truly comes into its own. The short-wheelbase model packs an impressive 6.3m3 cargo capacity rising to 7.2m3 in the long-wheelbase model.

When comparing the new Deliver 7’s entry-level competitive set on RRP price versus load volume, versus payload capacity – a simple equation many small businesses will consider during the pre-sale research journey – LDV believe Deliver 7 is the clear leader among its competitive set:

OWNERSHIP

The new LDV Deliver 7 starts from $53,990 RRP* for the short wheelbase model, rising to $56,990 RRP* for the long wheelbase variant. Both are covered by a comprehensive 7-year/200,000-kilometre (whichever comes first) warranty, 7-year/unlimited kilometre roadside assistance, and 7 years' worth of complimentary Warrant of Fitness** checks, providing new LDV owners with confidence and peace of mind.

“Its payload and loadspace capability, high levels of ADAS, sharp pricing and specification combine to deliver a compelling commercial offering for SMEs and fleet operators alike. The new Deliver 7 is, without question, the new game in town when it comes to the highly competitive mid-size van market in New Zealand. We look forward to seeing Deliver 7 help Kiwi businesses work harder every day.”

“We believe the new Deliver 7 is one of the most competitive mid-size vans on the market today. We understand the unique challenges that New Zealand businesses face. The LDV Deliver 7 is our answer to those challenges, offering exceptional value without compromising on quality or innovation. The Deliver 7 is built to work as hard as our customers do,” concludes Mellow.

The new Deliver 7 van is available to pre-order now with delivery in the new year. Deliver 7 vans are available for test drive in showrooms from 1 January 2025.
