LDV T60 drives home with Conztruct trade event winner

LDV proudly joined forces with CONZTRUCT, New Zealand’s largest nationally run trade show for the building and construction industry.
Traveling across 16 locations from Whangārei to Invercargill, CONZTRUCT connects thousands of tradies and suppliers, celebrating the innovation, dedication, and expertise that drives New Zealand’s construction sector forward.

As the official vehicle partner for the 2024 CONZTRUCT event series, LDV added an extra layer of excitement by giving every attendee the chance to win a brand-new T60 ute, fully equipped with a canopy.

The T60, built to handle the toughest jobs and toughest terrain, is the ultimate workhorse—rugged, reliable, and packed with power. It’s the perfect ute for Kiwis who demand strength and performance, whether on-site or on the road.

Attracting a wide range of industry professionals, from builders and electricians to architects and designers, CONZTRUCT ran from June to November and continues to be one of New Zealand’s most respected trade events. With free entry to shows across the country, from Whangārei down to Invercargill, it was the perfect opportunity to network and explore the latest industry trends.

LDV Head of Brand Marketing, Daile Stephens, was excited for the deserving winner.
“LDV offers New Zealand’s largest range of commercial vehicles, keeping Kiwi businesses moving,” she said.
“We’re so thrilled that Lyndon will get plenty of use out of this ‘tool of trade’ prize. The T60 ute offers the power and comfort that hardworking Kiwis need to get the job done right.”
Stephens added that the partnership with CONZTRUCT gave LDV the chance to engage directly with potential customers, particularly tradies, electricians, and architects who rely on practical, hard-working vehicles every day.

The winner, Lyndon, was over the moon to take home the T60. After recently returning to work following six years spent in Canada and Antarctica, he attended the Queenstown event after being given an invitation from his manager.
“This was my first time at CONZTRUCT, and it was awesome to talk to so many industry professionals and learn about the latest products,” he said.

A passionate sparky, Lyndon works with high-end residential clients and sees the T60 as the ideal fit for his demanding lifestyle.
“Huge thanks to my boss for inviting me to CONZTRUCT in Queenstown and to LDV for this incredible prize. The T60 is a fantastic ute, and I can’t wait to take it on a road trip down south for the holidays!”

With its unmatched performance and rugged versatility, the T60 was a standout at CONZTRUCT, reaffirming LDV’s commitment to supporting New Zealand’s hardworking tradies and industries.
“LDV’s range of petrol and diesel-powered utes and cargo vans is a perfect fit for the building and construction industry,” said Stephens
LDV are proudly partnering with CONZTRUCT in 2025 and will once again be offering a prize vehicle for attendees.
